Once you were holding space in my life,
but now you're away to keep safe.
Each time I left a new day,
you remained the only game I wanted to play.
Then we went together for a while
and nothing could erase your smile.
You're still lying in my memory,
like an Angel, you left me a legacy.
But something went wrong between us
and you did not let me try to help you.
I've never understood all the mess
you were fighting with to get through.
Without letting me any choice,
taking back the sweet sound of your voice,
you asked me to forget, to forgive and keep on.
And then you disappeared. You left my life and my phone.
Vanishing in time, collapsing till you don't exist anymore
and never giving a chance to know why.
Why did you say " let's try " ?
Why do you let me cry ?
Was it my turn to pay
because you were the best thing I was living for ?
Many time, many months, hoping you could be back on my side
but nothing happened, there's no one to bide.
I was thinking of a new beginning, something else than silence.
I suppose it was out of reality, as you are vanishing in time.
All those days, I ran after an answer to explain your defence.
All I found is a sick and sad heart. Loosing you is a shame.
